LUBRICANTS

To apply oil, simply put a Small bead of oil every where there is friction of metal to metal. Do not put oil on mainsprings or hairsprings, just the pivot holes and the gears where they touch each other. Only a very Small amount of oil is required, it will spread itself around. To much oil will just cause a mess and if you are working on a watch or clock, the watch or clock may not run as good as it should with to much oil all over it. Only apply enough so it is lubed, but not running down the plates.
